Garamtata Safaris is situated in the far north of South Africa in the heart of the Mopane bushveld. Besides the spectacular views there is a wide variety of game, birds and tree species. Bird lovers can lookout for Martial Eagle, Pale Chanting Goshawk, White Crowned Shrike and many other beautiful species. Iconic bushveld trees like the Red Bush Willow, giant Leadwood, Wild Syringa, Marula, along with the overwhelming Mopane and mysterious Baobab trees provide the essential nutrients and much needed shade during the day. LUXURY CHALETS

The game lodge offers four comfortable en-suite chalets located on top of a ridge overlooking a busy waterhole which is frequently visited by an abundance of game species. Each of the air-conditioned chalets are equipped with a bar fridge, separate bath and shower and fresh towels. Sleeping arrangements include a double bed and two single beds to ensure a comfortable and relaxed stay in the bushveld. The luxury en-suite chalets give you a sense of belonging, comfort and relaxation, ideally positioned to guarantee the privacy of every guest.

SAFARI TENT CAMP

For those who appreciate a closer connection with nature, Garamtata Safaris offer four luxury en-suite safari tents with extra outdoor ablution facilities. The safari camp is nestled on the banks of a small episodic river, with indigenous trees and bush surrounding the tented camp, all adding to a relaxed ambience. The safari tent camp is the ideal place for hunters wanting to get back to nature. The entertainment area is equipped for self-catering and catering is available on request and can be pre-arranged when booking your stay.

HOW TO LOCATE GARAMTATA SAFARIS

The lodge is approximately 150 kilometres north of Polokwane in the rain shadow of the Soutpansberg mountain range between Louis Trichardt and Musina.
